Stick League Privacy Policy

Stick League does not ask for your email, phone number or name. Your account is an anonymous identifier created on your device. We store the stick photos you scan, the cards made from them, your chosen display name and country, and your scores. You can delete all of it from inside the app.

• Account: an anonymous user id, the display name you type, the country you pick (the app suggests one from your phone’s region setting), and an invite code.
• Photos: the stick photos you choose to scan. They are sent to our servers and to OpenAI to be described and scored, then stored so your card can be shown. Photos you do not scan never leave your phone.
• Game data: cards, scores, XP, streaks, badges, votes, battles, hunts and who invited whom.
• Purchases: whether you have an active Pro subscription, via RevenueCat and Apple. We never see your payment details.
• Diagnostics: basic crash and usage data so we can keep the app working.

We do not collect your precise location and we do not sell your data. To learn which of our ads bring people to the app, the app uses Meta’s SDK: it records installs, sign-ups and purchases, and, only if you allow tracking when iOS asks, your device’s advertising identifier. If you decline, Meta receives aggregated, non-identifying measurements only (Apple’s SKAdNetwork).

• To make your cards and run the game: leaderboards, the monthly vote, hunts, battles and the For You feed, where other users can see kept cards with your display name and country.
• To bill and honour your subscription.
• To keep the app safe: cards reported by three users are hidden automatically.

• Other users see your kept cards, display name, country, rank and XP. Free cards that expire are removed.
• OpenAI processes the photo to describe the stick. It is not used to train their models under our API terms.
• Supabase hosts our database and photo storage (EU region). RevenueCat and Apple handle subscriptions.

Free cards and their photos are deleted 24 hours after they are made. Kept cards stay until you delete them or your account. Deleting your account from the You tab removes your profile, cards, photos, votes and battles. Backups clear within 30 days.

The app is rated for ages 4+ on the App Store because it contains nothing objectionable, but accounts are for people 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think we have, email us and we will delete it.

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to object to how we use it. Everything we hold is visible in the app, and deletion is a button in the You tab. For anything else, email us.
